The concert featuring 23 pieces was inspired by the longest road in the world – Pan American Highway-\u00a0 says Lee Jae Phang who organised the\u00a0 event in Bandar Sri Damansara,\u00a0 Selangor, Malaysia\u00a0 on Oct 2,\u00a0 2025.<\/p>\n
Spanning some 30,000 km across 14 countries,\u00a0 the highway is a showcase of\u00a0 \u00a0natural wonders, history and cultural diversity.<\/p>\n

While we may play different musical instruments or have our favourite composer\/s, openness to musical experience is enriching and vital for\u00a0 musicality development.<\/p>\n
On that note,\u00a0 the Wind & Strings 2025 Tour Pan – Americana Impressions – is a golden opportunity.<\/p>\n
Drawing inspiration from the\u00a0 Pan American Highway,\u00a0 the renowned performers- Anton Isselhardt and Pongpat Pogpradit- with their selected pieces were able to\u00a0 bring the world famous route into focus.<\/p>\n
Music transcends culture.<\/p>\n
And concert pianist and teacher\u00a0 Lee Jae who brought in the concert notes that he is always inspired by imaginative progamming.<\/p>\n

Welcome to Malaysia…Lee Jae (right)\u00a0 took\u00a0 Anton (centre) and Pongpat for nasi kandar dinner in Kota Damansara, Selangor, Malaysia.<\/strong><\/p>\n A musical journey .. Pan Americana Impressions, inspired by the Pan American Highway, brings the scenic route into focus.<\/strong><\/p>\n Anton has been the head of the Classical Music Program of the Goethe Centre in Phnom Penh since 2006.<\/p>\n He has organised various international music projects in the South East Asian (SEA)\u00a0 Region.<\/p>\n Anton is also a lecturer at the Faculty of Music at the Royal University of Fine Arts in Phnom Penh and performs regularly in Europe and in the SEA Region.<\/p>\n Pongpat is head of the classical guitar department and lecturer at the Silpakorn University in Bangkok.<\/p>\n He is the director of the Silpakorn International Guitar Festival\u00a0 and member of the Thai Guitar Society.<\/p>\n Pongpat regularly performs on many International Guitar Festivals in SEA and on other international stages.<\/p>\n Something special…Anton (right) briefly introduced the pieces to the audience.<\/strong><\/p>\n Congratulations… Pongpat (left) and Anton.\u00a0 The concert ended on a high note.<\/strong><\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" Among the best…Anton Isselhardt , flutist from Germany and Thailand’s guitarist Pongpat Pogpradit in the Wind & Strings 2025 Tour Pan – Americana Impressions in Malaysia on Oct 2, 2025.
