The recital is meaningful as well as enlightening for the students ; from celebrating their achievements to figuring out areas that need improvement.<\/p>\n
As teacher Lee Jae puts it: “The concert is meant to be a learning experience for everyone. We only grow stronger with every performance we do,\u00a0 so you have bigger and better experiences to look forward to.”<\/p>\n

Concert pianist and teacher Lee Jae delivering his welcome address at the Yamaha Festival Hall on Sept 13, 2025 recital.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n Students who took part in the recital.<\/strong><\/p>\n Learning piano to acquire the skills and mastering it is,\u00a0 a journey with its many milestones.<\/p>\n While some students may be talented, it takes\u00a0 discipline, hard work, diligent\u00a0 practice\u00a0 and most of all,\u00a0 the help and guidance of a good teacher to realize the students’ full potential.<\/p>\n The same applies to all students .<\/p>\n And guidance and support from their parents and\/ or family members especially for the very young students, is\u00a0 equally important.<\/p>\n The presence of the students’\u00a0 family members at the recital\u00a0 speaks volumes.<\/p>\n Every student is unique.<\/p>\n For this recital, preparations started from choosing the piece, practising the technicalities, polishing it,\u00a0 practise playing for others\u00a0 to\u00a0 stagecraft.<\/p>\n All in, the\u00a0 teacher, students and their family members made the recital a resounding success.<\/p>\n Looking forward to next year’s recital!<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" Proud achievers …While learning, practising and\u00a0 playing the piano build music skills and is a form of brainpower training, performing on stage is an ultimate test.
